Now firmly established on the international pig party circuit, last week Fetish Week London 2014 made their 5th outing the best ever.

There were events catering for every conceivable kink and perversion in venues right across the city from the East End to Vauxhall, and the QX Piggies were at them all – yes really!

We were well and truly ready for the Sports Cruise party at the Hoist on Thursday. From Lycra-clad wrestlers to swimmers in Speedos, footy fanatics, boxer boys and even a trio of Spider-Men, the Hoist was stuffed to the rafters with grunting, sweating ‘sports’ activities. The ‘pool’ over in arch 2 saw many water sport activities, the majority not on the ASA approved list I suspect, but all entered into with gusto and enthusiasm from pros and amateurs alike.

We always knew that Saturday was going to be full on, and it kicked off in fine 18-hole style at the Skinhead party at the Eagle. It was a glorious day and the garden area was packed with skins of all persuasions from classic denim and Fred Perry to rubber and leather skins with Rangers and Doc Martins de rigueur. The BBQ was on fire, drinks flowed and DJ Wes played the perfect accompaniment of Ska and club classics.

Sunday is usually the day of rest, but for Fetish Week London it is anything but that with two of its biggest parties. Rubber Gear at Union featured a huge back room converted into a sling and sex-furniture camo net maze. In the front room, Gordon John played a horny sleazy mix to grind to in an atmosphere heavy with the smell of latex and sweat.

Finally, for the hardcore FWL survivors, the official closing party Deconstruction at the Hoist was a melange of every party through the week with all fetishes welcome. There was an array of harnesses, Lycra, latex, jocks, Bluf leather, bleachers, aprons and even a rubber bunny who thoroughly lived up to his reputation. To some, the fetish scene might appear a scary and daunting place but actually I can honestly say they are the nicest and friendliest bunch of guys you could ever hope to meet. We also noticed a much larger contingent of younger guys this year, with the puppy scene really taking off.

Fetish Week London was exceptional and is testament to the hard work and preparation from the Recon team and staff that worked the nights. We are already counting down to FWL2015…
